This is not just another Hospital but a thoughtfully crafted mission to create a model of accessible and affordable medical services for the underprivileged and needy in our society. Dr. Hedgewar Hospital provides excellent medical services at affordable cost to the common man. Affordable & Subsidized Treatment, teamwork, sophisticated equipment and Qualified Specialist are few Salient features of this hospital. We have treated more than 6 million poor patients in last 25 years, of which 75% are poor villagers or slum dwellers.

Kimaya Cochlear Implant
For a profoundly deaf child Cochlear Implant is THE ONLY opportunity that can bring the transformation in his life otherwise he will not only be deaf but also DUMB and he will be a SIGNER for his lifetime. Since 2017, we have performed more than 170 surgeries of cochlear Implant. The sooner a child gets access to hearing, the better are his/her chances of getting fully integrated into mainstream society.
Chintaman Paranjpe Vision Endowment Project
Childhood blindness has preventable causes like corneal scars from vitamin A deficiency, infections, and injuries. Curable causes encompass pediatric cataract, glaucoma, retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), refractive errors, and low vision. ROP occurs in premature babies or those under 3 pounds at birth, characterized by abnormal blood vessel growth in the retina, the eye’s light-sensitive tissue.
Sevavrati
Sevavrati, a remarkable initiative, redefines patient care post-retirement. Dr. Hedgewar Hospital witnesses dedicated retirees, seamlessly transitioning into service roles from reception to operation theatres. Over 60 individuals dedicate 4 hours daily, exemplifying selfless commitment, finding fulfillment and purpose in serving others beyond retirement, painting a beautiful tapestry of care and compassion.
