CSR of ONGC and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Vaidyakiya Pratishthan is running a 300 bedded
super specialty hospital in Shivsagar city of Assam for the treatment of poor and needy
patients of Assam called Swargdew Siu-Ka-Fa Hospital. The hospital is setup in the name of
Siu Ka Pha, he is the first Ahom king in medieval Assam, was the founder of the Ahom
kingdom and the architect of Assam. He was a brave and courageous dignitary who
enlightened every part of his kingdom. His good governance not only influenced the Ahom
kingdom but also the other small empires in Assam, then known as Kamrup.

ONGC has large base in Upper part of Assam & have been striving hard to give back to
community by setting up a multi-specialty hospital. This hospital is a great asylum for the
poor patients of Assam in pain and agony. The poor and needy people in this area are very
happy and receiving quality treatment in minimum charges in this hospital. With this
project, we wish to provide that slice of treatment & health cover to people of Assam and
North East part which they can’t even dream of. The motive is not just to cure through
competent medical service, but also to do our bit of service towards Nation by serving the
NORTH EAST region.

and to provide excellent, ethical & compassionate medical service to people-at-large of
North East. Our fully equipped state-of-the-art facilities include advanced diagnostics,
Mammogram, helical multislice CT scan, 1.5 Tesla MRI, gold-standard modular OTs, a critical
care unit for adults & children, physiotherapy & rehabilitation facilities, and pathology &
microbiological labs. Above all, our dedicated and experienced medical professionals are the
main pillar of support for serving needy people.
